The
Bremen Police Department currently consists of twenty full time
employees. We have at this time in our Patrol Division, one
Lieutenant/Patrol Commander, four Patrol Sergeants, seven Patrol Officers,
and one part-time Officer. Criminal Investigations Division consists of CID
Commander/Lieutenant and one Sergeants investigators. We currently have four
Communications Officers, two employees in Court Services and Records. We
have two Sergeants which are assigned to Traffic units one also being the
K-9 Officer. We also are lucky enough to have our K-9 Kasey! We have at the
current time one part-time certified Officer and 10 certified Officers on
our Auxiliary Police Force, also Captain/Assistant Chief. All these employees work under the direction of
the Chief of Police.
The Police Department has two patrol units
patrolling the City during the day and three on our night watches. This is
made up by four watches which work twelve hour shifts. The traffic and K-9
units work a rotation schedule and on call. The Criminal Investigators work
a day watch and are on call for nights.
