Staff

      Chief of Police, Keith Pesnell has been with the department for approximately eighteen years. He was appointed Chief in April 2005, Keith has served the department as a Sergeant on Patrol, Patrol Officer and dispatcher/firefighter. Keith has also served as an agent on the Tallapoosa Judicial Drug Task Force.

      Captain, Richard Harrison has been with the department for approximately twenty three years. He currently serves as Assistant Chief; Richard has served the department as and investigator, Sergeant on Patrol, Patrol Officer and as a dispatcher/firefighter.

      Lieutenant, Blane Cochran has been with the department for approximately thirteen years. He currently serves as Patrol Commander; Blane has served the department as an investigator, Sergeant on Patrol, Patrol Officer, and as a dispatcher.

      Sergeant, Terry Marlow has been with the department for approximately thirty one years. He currently serves as Sergeant on day watch Patrol, Terry has served the department as a Sergeant on Patrol, Patrol Officer and as a dispatcher/firefighter.

      Sergeant, John R. Rogers Jr. has been with the department for approximately six years. He currently serves as our K-9 Officer and as a Traffic Officer; Jay has served the department also as a Patrol Officer and as a dispatcher.

      Sergeant, Keith Parrish has been with the department for approximately six years. He currently serves as a Sergeant/Investigator; Keith has served the department also as a Patrol Officer, and as a dispatcher.

      Sergeant, Donald G. Stevens Sr. has been with the department for approximately twelve years. He currently serves as a Sergeant/Investigator; Donald has served the department also as a Patrol Officer and as a dispatcher.

      Sergeant, Rodney Smith has been with the department for approximately fifteen years. He currently serves as a day watch Sergeant on Patrol; Rodney has served the department also as a Patrol Officer and as a dispatcher.

      Sergeant, Jason Atkinson has been with the department for approximately eight years. He currently serves as a Sergeant on night watch patrol; Jason has served the department as an Investigator, a Patrol Officer and as a dispatcher.

      Sergeant, Jarret Allen has been with the department for approximately six years. He currently serves as a Traffic Officer: Jarret has served the department also as a Patrol Officer and as a dispatcher. 

      Sergeant, Lee Powell has been with the department for approximately five years. He currently serves as a night watch Sergeant on Patrol; Lee has served the department also as a Patrol Officer and as a dispatcher.

      Officer, Deanne Worthy has been with the department for approximately six years. She currently serves as our TAC and Director of Court Service and Records. Deanne has served the department also as a Patrol Officer and a dispatcher.

      Officer, Nikki Chapman has been with the department for approximately four years. She currently serves as our School Resource Officer; Nikki has served the department as a Patrol Officer, and as a dispatcher.

      Officer, Joseph Ryan Rogers has been with the department for approximately three years. He currently serves as a day watch Patrol Officer; Jo Ryan has served the department also as a dispatcher.

      Officer, Stephen Ward has been with the department for approximately one year. He currently serves as a day watch Patrol Officer; Steven has served the department also as a dispatcher.

       Officer, Shannon Simpson has been with the department for approximately one year. He currently serves as a night watch Patrol Officer; Shannon has served the department also as a dispatcher.

       Officer, Barrett Powell has been with the department for approximately one year. He currently serves as a night watch Patrol Officer.

       Officer, Casey Vann has been with the department for approximately one year. He currently serves as a night watch Patrol Officer.

       Officer, Chad Henderson has been with the department for approximately one year. He currently serves as a night watch Patrol Officer.

       Mary Joyce Harwell has been with the department for approximately five years. She currently serves as a TAC and records division.

       Chad McIntyre has been with the department for approximately four months. He currently serves as a dispatcher.

       Deborah Walker has been with the department for approximately seven months. She currently serves as a dispatcher.

      Nathan Worthy has been with the department for approximately five months. He currently serves as a dispatcher.

      Benjamin Truitt has been with the department for approximately nine months. He currently serves as a dispatcher.
