The City of Bremen, Parks & Recreation Department, is accepting applications for the Athletic Superintendent position. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: planning, coordinating, developing, organizing, and supervising a diversified athletic program; programs that promote active living, enhances the community, develops young athletes, instills character and self esteem in participants, volunteers and spectators. Employee’s work schedule will include some days, nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary. Duties also include assisting with other department programs as needed. Qualifications: Four year bachelor degree from an accredited college/university with major course work in recreation, outdoor education, physical education, sports management, or a related field and one year experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training, experience that provides the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities for this position. Must possess a valid Class “C” driver’s license and a satisfactory MVR. First Aid/CPR certification and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certified operator credentials must be acquired within the first six months of employment and maintain throughout tenure.

Salary: entry level at $33,965.50
